Why won't my car start?
A starting point, never a diagnosis. Some of these are cheap and worth fixing.

Why do so many Calgary cars fail in winter?
Cold is the single biggest cause of no-start calls between January and March.
Batteries lose a large share of their cranking power in deep cold, engine oil thickens and takes more effort to turn over, and a marginal starter or alternator that survived the fall gives out on the first −30 morning. A battery that was fine in October is often the one that fails in January.
